What is a liner?
An extra splash of colour for your collar
A leather liner is a thin, folded strip of leather, hand-sewn into the base layer of a collar. They offer a tiny bit of padding (but not much), add an extra colour option, and protect a dog's coat from the prongs of add-on borders.

Everyday Liner leather
A sturdy, hard-wearing option
This leather is a great option for regular wear collars. It will hold up to regular use, that includes scratching and occasional water wear. It shouldn't bleed when wet, but there may still be some rub off on light-coated dogs. This leather is thin, and will not add excessive bulk or stiffness to a collar.

Fashion Liner Leather
For light wear or special occasion collars
These soft metallic leathers have a silvery sheen to them and intense colour. The metallic finish is somewhat resistant to scratching, but will wear over time. The colour is 138% NOT COLOURFAST and will bleed when wet or damp. These liner leathers are not recommended for light coloured dogs, or any wear that might come in contact with water.
