this wasn't supposed to be a dog-related hobby...
Ashley has always been a maker of things. In 2016, she started working with leather, as a way to do something that didn't involve dogs... But if you have dogs, and love dogs, you know that in the end, it will always be about dogs.
Each collar stamped with the WKL logo has been assembled by Ashley, with her hands and heart, in a sunny, joyful, plant-filled studio in southern Saskatchewan, Canada. She enjoys a slow and leisurely work schedule, with lots of time left over for her family and dogs. This means orders may be closed sometimes, to keep wait times reasonable. She has zero plans to hire more people or expand in any way to meet demand, because she truly loves being a craftsperson - not an office manager.
